Overview The SOWA Pro is an active, battery-powered PA speaker from the Danish startup SOWA Sound, distributed in France by MID Audio. Designed for professional events (conferences, ceremonies, exhibitions, places of worship), it revolutionizes sound setup by eliminating all power and audio cabling between speakers. The SOWA Link protocol (proprietary 2.4 GHz, not WiFi, not Bluetooth) allows an unlimited number of speakers to be connected in Host/Join mode in seconds, with a latency of 15 ms and a range of 200 m line-of-sight. The cabinet is handcrafted in Europe from birch plywood (180 layers) – featuring a Nordic design aesthetic. Transducers and Acoustics 2-way: 6"" woofer (SB Acoustics, 40 W, sensitivity 89.5 dB/2.83V/1m) + 3/4"" dome tweeter (SB Acoustics, 30 W, sensitivity 88.5 dB/2.83V/1m).
